Our History:
In
1972 Mark Pappas bought Wargo’s Steak House, lounge, stag
bar and liquor store. Mr.
Pappas brought with him a vision for a diverse restaurant
menu including a variety of Italian specialties and a
selection of fresh seafood entrees including his famous
recipe for Maryland crab cake.
Mr. Pappas also re-organized the
old stag bar into a well-balanced sports bar, refurbished
the restaurant lounge, enlarged the liquor store, built a
pit beef and carry out window, and created Pappas Catering
on the second floor. It was not until seven years later that
Mr. Pappas officially changed the name of his business to
Pappas. Today, Pappas has become an integral part of a
Baltimorean tradition. Mouthwatering food, great drinks,
excellent service and reasonable prices have become the
cornerstone of our success. Located in Parkville, Maryland,
one-and-a-half miles off I-695 beltway (Exit 30-A), Pappas
is located on the corner of Taylor Avenue and Oakley Road.
